B Corp

Sustainability and responsible brewing are at the heart of what we do. It genuinely shapes how we source, how we brew, and how we run the business, day to day.

In 2026, we made that commitment official by becoming a certified B Corporation™. Certification meant putting our business through a rigorous, independent assessment of our impact on the environment, our people, our suppliers, our customers and our community.

The process challenged us to look closely at how we operate, recognise where we are making progress and identify where we can go further. Here is what that looks like in practice:

Reducing our environmental impact

The majority of our beers are now brewed with brewing partners who are using sustainable brewing practices to reduce the carbon footprint of every Nirvana beer. That means sourcing ingredients, water and energy from as close as possible to the production site, reducing miles from grain to glass. Most of our beers are primarily brewed with grains grown within the local vicinity of where they are brewed, and using a local water source. Additionally over 50% of our brewing is powered using energy from an onsite wind turbine.

We have switched to recyclable aluminium cans, reduced the weight of our packaging and made it easier for our customers to recycle our products. It is one part of a wider effort to reduce our footprint across the business, from our production methods to the way our beer reaches you.

Championing British ingredients

We source from the UK wherever quality, availability and seasonality allow. This enables us to support British growers, reduce the impact of transportation and build a more resilient supply chain.

We also work with our suppliers to meet the standards we set for ourselves, extending the same care and scrutiny beyond our brewery, and ensuring every element of production is sustainable and responsible.

Supporting our people and communities

Behind every can is our incredible Nirvana team that we are committed to supporting. We continue to invest in their development, wellbeing and overall experience, including the introduction of enhanced parental leave this year.

Beyond the brewery, our charitable giving supports causes that matter to us and enables our business to make a positive contribution to the wider community. This year we have donated to the National Park City Foundation which coordinates global efforts to make cities greener, healthier, and wilder, starting with our home city London.

What it means for you

Great alcohol-free beer, made by a business that takes its wider impact seriously. Nothing complicated, just something good, done properly.

B Corp certification is an important milestone, not a finish line. We will keep challenging ourselves, improving how we operate and finding better ways to brew.
