LOOKING AFTER YOUR KEGS 🍺🍺
1. A Clean Cellar is a Happy Cellar
Clean weekly with odour-free cleaner or pressure washer. Ventilate daily and keep food out-this space is for beer only!
2. Temperature Matters
Store beer at 8–11°C and let new deliveries settle for 24 hours. Set your cooler to 5–8°C for perfect pours.
3. One Beer, One Line
Always use a dedicated line for each beer to keep flavours pure.
4. Coupler Care
Clean couplers and keg valves between every keg to stay fresh and safe.
5. Line Cleaning
Clean lines after every keg. Let cleaner sit for 30 mins with 2 agitations. Use PPE and trusted products like Flomatic or Turbo.
SERVING YOUR BEER:
6. Perfect Pressure & Flow
Set gas pressure to keep carbonation right. A good pour should take 7–8 seconds.
7. Daily Nozzle Cleaning
Remove, rinse, and air-dry daily. Clean threads too. Brush weekly to avoid build-up.
8. Keep It Fresh
Use kegs within 7 days of tapping for the best taste and fizz.
9. Pour Like a Pro
Start at 45°, straighten as it fills. Nozzle should never touch the beer.
10. Check Your Gear
Regular checks help catch issues early and keep everything running smoothly.
